Asylum-Seekers Sponsorship Project (archive)
From 2018 until 2022, the Asylum-Seekers Sponsorship Project helped connect those seeking asylum without an identified sponsor in the U.S. with volunteer sponsors willing to open their homes. The project helped hundreds of asylum-seekers realize their dreams of safety in the U.S. Unfortunately the project was sunsetted at the end of 2022, but the good news is that there are additional resources that have risen up to fill that gap. See below for links to other resources available to help ensure that the U.S. continues to honor its obligations to asylum-seekers.
